History of Cricket
It's history trace backs to the 16th century, where it was played in rural England. It gradually became more organized, with the first known cricket match being played in 1697. In the 18th century, the game became popular among the aristocracy and it was during this time that the laws of the game were first formalized.
Since 1877, cricket has become a popular sport worldwide, with many countries having their own national teams.
